Welcome to Pretty Live ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use the Pretty Live mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using Pretty Live, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service immediately.
1. Device Permissions We Request
Pretty Live is a live video and audio streaming platform. To deliver core features, we request the following device permissions. You will be asked to grant each permission before it is used for the first time.
1.1 Camera
We access your device's camera to enable you to broadcast live video streams, capture and upload profile photos, and share image content with other users. Camera access is used only when you actively initiate a live stream or choose to capture a photo within the app. We do not access your camera in the background.
1.2 Microphone and Audio Recording
We access your device's microphone to capture and transmit your voice and audio during live streams and voice-enabled interactions. Audio is streamed in real time using WebRTC-based technology (powered by LiveKit). Audio from your live broadcasts may be processed, transmitted to other users, and temporarily cached on our servers and CDN nodes. We do not record or store your microphone audio outside of an active live session without your explicit action (e.g., saving a clip). We do not access your microphone in the background.
1.3 Notifications
With your permission, we send push notifications for new followers, messages, virtual gifts, live stream alerts, and promotional offers. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings or within the app.
1.4 Storage / Media Access
We request access to your device's photo library so you can select and upload a profile picture or share media content. We do not read, copy, or transmit files from your storage that you have not explicitly selected.
1.5 Network State
We check your network connection status to optimize streaming quality and notify you of connectivity issues.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide to Us
When you register or use the Service, you may provide:
- Account Information: name, username, date of birth, gender, email address, phone number, and password.
- Profile Information: profile photo, bio, social media links, and other optional details you choose to add.
- Payment Information: billing name and payment details when making in-app purchases. Payment data is processed exclusively by our third-party payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
- User-Generated Content: live video and audio streams, recorded clips, photos, comments, messages, virtual gifts, and any other content you broadcast or share.
- Communications: messages to other users, customer support inquiries, and feedback you submit to us.
2.2 Information We Collect Automatically
- Device Information: device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (Android ID, Advertising ID), mobile network information, and app version.
- Log Data: IP address, access timestamps, features accessed, crash reports, and diagnostic data.
- Location: approximate location derived from IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location.
- Usage Data: screens viewed, features used, session duration, interactions (likes, follows, gifts sent and received), and engagement metrics.
- Streaming Metadata: stream duration, viewer counts, peak concurrency, and technical quality metrics (bitrate, latency).
2.3 Information From Third Parties
- Google Sign-In: if you log in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google LLC.
- Firebase Services: we use Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Firebase Storage, Firebase Realtime Database, and Firebase Cloud Messaging (all by Google LLC) for account management, data storage, file hosting, and push notifications.
- Payment Processors: transaction confirmation and fraud-prevention signals from our payment partners.
- Other Users: information included when another user interacts with you, gifts you, or reports content involving you.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Account & Identity: to create your account, verify your identity, and maintain your profile.
- Live Streaming: to transmit your audio and video in real time to other users via our WebRTC / LiveKit infrastructure.
- Service Delivery: to operate virtual gifting, in-app messaging, host earnings, leaderboards, and all other platform features.
- Personalization: to recommend streamers, rooms, and content based on your activity and interests.
- Notifications: to send you account alerts, service announcements, and promotional messages (opt-out available at any time).
- Safety & Moderation: to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, harassment, and violations of our Terms of Service.
- Analytics & Improvement: to analyze usage trends, diagnose technical issues, and improve app performance.
- Legal Compliance: to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.
- Payments: to process in-app purchases and manage host earnings payouts.
4. Third-Party SDKs and Services
The app integrates the following third-party services, each with their own privacy practices:
- Firebase (Google LLC): authentication, database, file storage, push notifications, and crash reporting. Firebase Privacy

- LiveKit / WebRTC: real-time audio and video streaming infrastructure.
- Device Info Plus / Mobile Device Identifier: used to collect device identifiers for fraud prevention, session management, and analytics. We do not use device identifiers to track you across third-party apps for advertising.
5. How We Share Your Information
5.1 Public Content
Your username, profile photo, bio, and live streams are visible to all users, including unregistered visitors. Live streams and clips may remain accessible after broadcast ends unless you delete them.
5.2 Other Users
When you send gifts, comments, or messages, the relevant content is visible to the recipient(s) and, where applicable, to viewers of the stream.
5.3 Service Providers
We share data with trusted vendors who help operate the Service: cloud hosting, payment processors, CDN providers, push notification services, analytics platforms, and customer support tools. These providers are bound by data processing agreements and may only use your data as directed by us.
5.4 Business Transfers
In a merger, acquisition, or asset sale your information may be transferred. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
5.5 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information when required by law, court order, or government request, or when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pretty Live, our users, or the public.
5.6 With Your Consent
We may share your data for other purposes when you have given express consent.
5.7 We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information
Pretty Live does not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
6. Virtual Currency and Gifts
Pretty Live offers virtual coins and gifts purchasable with real money. Please note:
- Virtual items have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash except where expressly permitted by applicable law.
- All purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law.
- Host earnings are subject to our Host Program terms, payment thresholds, and identity verification requirements.
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately at privacy@prettylive.app and we will delete it promptly. Users aged 13–17 may use the Service only with verifiable parental or guardian consent.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by visiting our Data Deletion page or by contacting us at privacy@prettylive.app. We will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days of a valid deletion request, except where retention is required by legal obligation, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements. Aggregated analytics data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely.
9. Your Rights and Choices
9.1 Account Settings
You may access, update, or correct your profile information at any time through Settings in the app.
9.2 Marketing Communications
Opt out of promotional emails via the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email. Manage push notifications in your device settings or within the app. Opting out does not affect transactional communications (e.g., password reset).
9.3 Permission Revocation
You can revoke camera, microphone, notification, or storage permissions at any time through your device's app settings. Revoking a permission will disable the corresponding feature (e.g., revoking microphone access will prevent you from broadcasting live audio).
9.4 Data Subject Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data; object to processing; and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@prettylive.app. We will respond within 30 days.
10. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including TLS/SSL encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security assessments. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but will notify affected users in the event of a data breach as required by law.
11. International Data Transfers
Pretty Live operates globally. Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data protection laws than your home country. We apply appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where required, to protect your data during international transfers.
12. Push Notifications
We use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications for new followers, messages, gifts, live stream alerts, and offers. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings or in the app's notification preferences.
13. Live Streaming and User Content
Audio and video you broadcast on Pretty Live is transmitted in real time to viewers via our WebRTC / LiveKit infrastructure. Stream content may be temporarily cached on servers and CDN nodes globally. You are solely responsible for the content you broadcast and must comply with our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. We may moderate or remove content that violates our policies.
14. Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics and related tools to understand app performance and user engagement. These tools may collect device identifiers and usage data. You can limit ad personalization through your device's advertising settings (e.g., "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android). We do not share precise real-time location data with analytics or advertising partners.
15. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have the right to: know what personal information we collect; request deletion; opt out of sale (we do not sell personal information); non-discrimination for exercising rights; correct inaccurate data; and limit use of sensitive personal information. Submit requests to privacy@prettylive.app. You may designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf.
16. European Economic Area / UK (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are in the EEA or UK, we process your personal data under the following legal bases: Contract (to provide the Service); Legitimate Interests (fraud prevention, platform safety, service improvement); Consent (marketing communications, optional features); and Legal Obligation (compliance with law). 17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice or email. The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
